Not everyone is counting sheep!-Chapter 2

This next story has keeps us laughing even now, at least a year later!

He woke up in the middle of the night and started asking me where his pillow was. I didn't know, but thought there are only of a couple of places it could be. So we looked everywhere on the bed, on both sides of the bed, at the foot of the bed, and back between the bed and the wall. But, we just couldn't find it. I would be lying to you if I said that he wasn't really upset about all this. So finally we turn on the light next to the bed, so we didn't have to get out of bed... still no pillow in sight. So I get out of bed and where did we find the pillow? All the way on the other side of the room! He had chucked it all the way across the room in his sleep. I would have to say that it was about 20 feet away!

About 6 months later we were reading How to Solve Your Child's Sleeping Problems. In the book the author tells a story to get you to understand how a baby feels when they wake up in the middle of the night in an unfamiliar place. I don't own the book so I can't quote it for you, but he pretty much says it is like an adult that falls asleep with his pillow and then wakes up to find his pillow gone. Man did we have a laugh!
