Clara went to Washington and Josh was with his Dad Mike so Patrick and I had for the first time in a long time a day that was just for the two of us. We played a lot at home, mom did some much needed relaxing, and then when the power went out and the house was about a million degrees Patrick and I went on a date to one of my favorite places Cafe Rio!!! Overall it was a perfect day. Soon I hope to take Josh on a date. I would have to say that doing things as a family is fun, but sometimes one on one time can be even better.

Oh my heck Chrystal! I check your blog like every day- and I miss a couple of days and BAM!! I have like 7 posts to catch up on! Your family is darling! I loved the one on fathers day- and patrick and the shoes- and the dinner at the cabin...ok I just liked all of them. You have the cutest kids! I jsut laughed with the pictures of Patrick and Trevor and the new "pucker" face. Looks like you guys have been crazy busy- but having lots of fun!
That sounds like fun, it is always nice to get to spend a little time alone with each child and I know they love it too.
It's true-- you do like 13 posts at a time. Way cool mommy-son date.
