Trevor's brother is being deployed to Afghanistan. He leaves tomorrow. His wife is one of my closest friends and it has been very hard for me emotionally just watching them go through all of this. I can't imagine my husband being gone for a year. Although it is very sad were are also very proud as well. This year I wanted to do something for Christmas that they could hang up around there house and have that visual reminder of their daddy. So I made these 3 canvas pictures. The first one was very emotional for me while putting together. I just loved how happy he is looking at his little girl. The little boy, Evan, just makes me laugh. Every time I go to her house and see them on her wall I am really proud of how well they turned out. Hope you all are praying for our troops. Not only for their safety but as well as the strong families they leave behind. What an amazing sacrifice!

On a more positive note. Josh and I attended a baptism preview today. As he will be 8 this year. It made me so excited for his baptism. Someone even asked me to design their invitations for their childs baptism. Josh wont be baptized til June but I am already so excited and thinking about what his invites will look like. And how much he will love scouts and all that jazz. Josh is very excited as well.

Is Nate getting deployed? I had no idea he was in the military. What is he doing for them? My brother-in-law is also leaving for Afghanistan in August. I hope things will go well with him and his family! I don't know their blog anymore but please send them our wishes to them.
Rui there is a link to their blog on my blog. it is private soif you dont have access let me know your email and I will send it to allie. Yep he is a helicopter fueler. He left yesterday. It was so sad. Allie is a trooper and is handling it amazingly. It is so hard taking care of to children by yourself especially since they are not old enough to know what is going on. Evan even siad to him "why didn't you sign me up to go with you!".
Aww. Nate is a great guy, and I'm sure everyone is proud of him. It is so sad. :( I'll be praying for the troops and for him as well. I love the pics, Chrystal, you did a great job!
