Patrick the builder!

We have been saying that we should get Patrick blocks for a while now, the plan was to do it for Christmas and then it just never really happened. So after seeing Patrick use nearly anything to make a tower with, I decided that I don't like having more cups to wash after he builds with them. I don't think it is safe and I don't want to keep throwing away the glass mugs he found and built which eventually chipped or the handles came off when the tower fell. But TOILET PAPER I can deal with. He started unwrapping the 48 rolls that came in the Costco bundle and started to build!Josh saw me get out the camera and came running to help with the project. Which means ALL the toilet paper unwrapped and lots of paper all over the place.

But I would have to admit he does make beautiful work!

Really I thought the whole thing was cute, who cares about the mess. It is not like it is my Nemesis (see definition below) MUD!

As you can see you don't need blocks to be able to build...but he is for sure getting blocks for his birthday in April. If you ever wondered where my children get their creative genius, you should totally check out my art work bottom left.
