Although Obama wasn't my first choice, I still find it very important to be supportive of our President, and I found it very emotional in a good way to see him sworn in. It just amazes me how once upon a time some people, because of the color of their skin, were treated so different in a negative way (to put it lightly) then other people. I really enjoy reading history, and I find it very exciting to be apart of this historic moment. 
Since our children are a little too young to understand, we celebrated this day by building a fort!
