Valentines Suprises and Sweets

Due to all that has been going on lately, I was just not in a very Valentine mood. I am huge, I am uncomfortable, I am hormonal, Josh and Patrick are both sick, Patrick especially having his first ear infection and there are about three other health problems I am having this pregnancy that aren't normal pregnancy problems. So with all that, I told Trevor the Thursday before Valentines Day; that I defiantly didn't want it to be a trend, but this year I really don't want to worry about Valentines Day. Lets just stay home and relax and just have nothing we have to do. Well as you can tell by the above pictures, that wasn't exactly what happened. My husband surprised me by coming home at 1pm on Thursday (not when he normally gets off work), and handed me some lunch he picked up with 12 long steam red roses. I don't have a good vase for those kind and quantity of flowers, so I distributed them between three vases! It sure did make my day!! I only wish I wasn't looking so scrub in my sweats when he handed them to me! Every time I looked at them them made me so happy, I actually took these pics a couple days later.

As for the actual Valentines Day. My husband and kids were all sick, but I made them a fun breakfast anyway. With help from the kids the table looked festive and the strawberry banana crapes were amazing! We spent the day talking and reading and making valentines, as well as hoping that the three of them wouldn't get me sick. It turned out to be the relaxing weekend we all needed, too bad most of use had to be sick to make it happen.

Those crepes look absolutely delicious! That was so nice of your hubby to get you some pretty flowers, and that was nice of you to make a festive breakfast -- even if everyone was sick and you were humungous pregnant. ;)
