Our Christmas Season

Last year after Christmas I found a cheap train for under the tree at the DI. The boys loved to watch it go around in circles over and over again. We took a trip to see the Christmas Lights at Temple Square with Trevor's brothers family and our friends the Boyces. I really enjoyed the opportunity to get out and walk around. I took this picture of the the Salt Lake Temple.

I had my primary class come over for a class party. We made gingerbread houses and a big mess.

Then the night of Christmas Eve we threw a family Christmas Party. I decided to make it this simple this year, so we did it later in the evening so I didn't need to make dinner. We hung out and made gingerbread houses, which actually turned out to be a bigger hit then I thought it would be! It was a lot of fun.

Christmas morning... this is the first year where Patrick really got into Christmas! We got each of the boys 4 or 5 things, not too pricey but only things I thought they would really like. Which meant no clothing other then the pajamas they opened the night before. Josh was excited for this leapster case to use for the leapster he got last year.

And he LOVED these moon boots, Trevor's brilliant idea. Normally 20 bucks, I found used on line for 3 bucks!! Perfect. Christmas felt low key and absolutely perfect this year!!
