Crazy story... for the last 3 month, even though I have refused to allow myself to dream about having a girl (cause I really thought I wasn't), I kept feeling like if it was a girl we should name her Lilian (Lily). I couldn't shake the name, and when I found out I was having a boy, I told a few people I really feel like the name Lily has some sort of significance, I don't know what it will be but maybe I am supposed to meet someone named Lily in the near future, because I feel so strongly connected to that name!! One week later meet....
Lilith (Lily)...
My sister Jenifer had here baby on the 17th! Since she doesn't have a camera I took the liberty of taking the pictures she took with her phone and am posting them here for all to see, especially grandma and grandpas!!
Born Monday, 11/16/09 at 11:41 PM by C-section - weight 5 lbs. 0 oz. 19" long. Even though she was 7 weeks early!! She is breathing on her own and may be able to go home in a couple of days. They thought there was an infection in the placenta and decided to have the baby come early! Jeni is healing nicely and even though she has NOTHING for the baby yet, she sure is excited for this beautiful little girl to join their family.

So now I know who Lily is and while I am still uncertain of the relevance to me feeling connected to her right now. I hope that future events will lead me to better understand this interesting connection.

LOVE that story and SO glad you took the time to write it up!
What a cute baby! She really is adorable and BIG for being 7 weeks early! That's a blessing, for sure. Just think if she would have gone full term - that baby would have been at least 8.5 lbs, right?! I'm glad that both the baby and Jennie are healthy -- that really is amazing for how early she delivered. And Lilith is a way cute name too. The name 'Lucy' was always in Neil and I's bag of 'maybes' if we ever had a girl - Lucy Jane to be exact. ;) Tell Jennie I said congratulations the next time you talk to her.
