It seems like the benefits of buying this house are adding up.

It was so stressful buying this house but now that it has happened we are finding more and more reasons to think this really was a great move for us. Mainly the free early reading preschool for Josh 5 days a week. Now the new one to add to the list, is a FREE program called Waterford Early Reading Program. It is held at a ward house down the street 4 days a week. Now mind you Josh is already reading so many things, but it is nice having new techniques to remind him and keep him interested. When the program recognizes what Josh does and doesn't know it will re introduce the things he needs to work on while moving forward to keep him from getting bored. The kids get on a computer for 30 mins and use this software that teaches them things and tracks their progress, it even prints out check points for the parents to see what the children know and what they need to work on. They also have two computers for children who need to learn how to use a mouse and develop initial computer skills. So I can take all the kids while Michaela and Josh do their lessons the younger kids and I do things on the other computers as well as play with the learning and sensory toys they have there. I am so grateful for all of the programs to help keep Josh's mind going, and help him not get bored. Next month we apply to schools to get him in the perfect kindergarten program. Anyone with suggestions of schools specializing in advanced children please feel free to leave a comment. We have an idea of where we will send him, but would love to know what other options are out there.
