I was the room mom in charge of the Easter party. I didn't want to do something with lots of candy and the kids wanted an egg hunt. So I had parents donate eggs, a mom do little goodie bags, another mom donated cookies for a snack, and I asked another mom to bring little baskets for the teacher and teacher aid. I took care of the bags and most the work. We had the kids prior to the party write nice things about each kid in their class. I wrote the name of each kid on 23 eggs. Inside each egg was something nice someone else had written about them. They got to decorate their bags, find their eggs and read their eggs. I had the students also write nice things about the teacher and teachers aid and we put those in the baskets for the teacher. So to cover all this we needed and received 585 eggs. In the picture you can see how many eggs that is. Josh loved reading the nice things. They said he was cool, fun, had cool hair, funny, and nice. Maybe some other stuff too. It made him so excited. It was totally worth the work put into it. Patrick loved that he could participate too in his older brothers school.
