sleep walking or walking without sleeping?

I have been doing a routine with Caleb at night to get him to fall asleep on his own. It has been going very well. Leave it to me though to mess up that progress by waking up in the middle of the night and finding Caleb laying next to me. I have no idea how that happened. Apparently I walked to his crib (while still sleeping) and carried him to my bed, laid in bed with him, and feed him, and eventually woke up to find what I had done... all in my sleep. Now that is talent my friends.

A different day
3:30am, just got Caleb back to sleep, I am almost asleep. Trevor sits up abruptly and grabs his phone. He then proceeds to where he keeps his clothes and points his phone at them to use the back light to find an outfit. I says something to him to the affect of... "what are you doing" or "are you awake?" He looks at me and smiles (my first clue) and walks to the foot of the bed and says "yea". "Why do you have your phone?, Are you really awake?". He then comes to my feet and gives them a playful squeeze, something he commonly does when he tells me goodbye when I am still in bed. Then he walks out of the room and puts his phone in his pocket. Eventually he comes back, after using the bathroom. The next morning we had quiet a laugh when he tells me that he thought it was time for him to go to work, didn't even phase him that is was still really dark out. I knew something was up when he was so happy and quick with his movements that early in the morning.

And last night...
Trevor had work problems to deal with. So yesterday he got home from work around 6and then continues to work from home all the way until 4pm TODAY. Finally Trevor got to pull the all-nighter he is always joking around about us throwing with our friends. Too bad it wasn't the party he invisioned when suggesting such game nights. It has been fairly entertaining seeing him function on the 4 hours of sleep he has had from 4-8pm tonight. Very entertaining.

My kids do funny things and I am sure I do funny things in mysleep as well. But since I am the only person in this house who is usually walking without sleeping I am the only one able to relay the stories. No one can catch me sleep walking if they are not awake! Bwahahahaha!
