Josh started at the neighborhood school and then was pulled off the waiting list for the Advanced Learners Program. Which we have been over the moon about because I just didn't feel good about where he was at. The homework was clearly not at Josh's level and he started hating school and would come home SO GRUMPY! ow he is in a class with children at his same placement where he is learning 2nd grade math and 4th grade reading, and his homework consists of really fun and creative activities. I will have to post some of it sometime. Now Josh LOVES school, he is so happy when he gets home and he draws papers for his teacher the more recent one says "Mr. Yospe ROCKS!!!". As soon as I met Josh's new teacher I knew it was where Josh needed to be. So anyway for his last day at the neighborhood school Grandma Callie and I took Patrick, Clara, and Caleb for a walk to pick up Josh from school.
There were bikes for all the kids (which made the trip long). And at one point the kids got sick of the bikes and I was very grateful for my double stroller!!! Yes there are 3 bikes on there!
Josh was so excited to dress himself for his first day at his new school!
I think he did a good job.

I'm glad that Josh is doing so well in his new school -- that means so much as a Mom. Josh's outfit looks pretty cool. I don't let my kids pick out their outfits for school. I only give them a choice between two different shirts. I know, I'm bad...
p.s. Josh's lunch box is the coolest!
Mr Yospe? One of my good friends married a Yospe. They have to be related!
I was just thinking the same thing as the last post! My friend married a Yospe. They have to be related!
