Maybe the end of July...

For a very long time I have wanted to be able to purchase money making real estate. When it came time for Chrystal and I to buy our first home, we looked and looked at new homes which were farther from Salt Lake where the new homes were being built. We looked into a few short sales, but they always had 10 offers on them. In desperation to find something closer to home, Chrystal searched and searched for homes that I would be okay with, closer to downtown Salt Lake. That's when we found our duplex. I was sold because I viewed it as a stepping stone to one day buy another house and then I would finally own a piece of real estate other than my own home that makes money. I didn't expect to be able to so soon, but because a bunch of things coming together it looks like we have found our first real home, in a neighborhood that we love.

It's not a done deal yet, but our fingers are crossed.
