So I have a "Vote for Pedro" shirt that I usually wear when I am out gardening. This story happened a month ago I just haven't posted it til now, anyway. Patrick was really whinny that day and so I was holding him on my lap while Trevor was digging a spot for the sprinkler. As Trevor and I are talking, I realize that Patrick is pointing at my shirt and saying stuff. As my train of thought is about to shift back to what Trevor is saying I realize that Patrick isn't talking gibberish, he is reading the letters on my shirt! "V", "O", "T", he says. Are you kidding me! "Patrick, show daddy" so I point to the letter 'V', (I do not say anything) he then points at it and says "V", I point to 'O', then 'T' both getting the same response. Then I proceed to 'E', he says "E"! He told me 'V,O,T,E,F,O', when we got to 'R' he would say 3. I have never gone over what a letter looks like with him, and I don't recall Josh pointing at my shirt and repeating the letters. So I really have no idea how he knew them. The next morning I pulled out the shirt again to see if it was a fluke, without hesitation he repeated those same letters. Needless to say I have decided that he is not too young to learn the letters of the alphabet. Now that he knows the song and how to count to 13 why not right!
