This years birthday was nothing short of wonderful!!! I am HUGE about birthdays, I love to have reasons to get people together and do things we normaly don't make time to do. So here is how my birthday weekend went...
Friday... MURDER MYSTERY DINNER!
This was a kid free party, we have never had one, thought we would see what it was like. Thanks to Josh's grandma Rosie for watching the kids, it was so relaxing! Thanks Rosie, I really appreciated it!!
The characters from left to right...Lyza M (angie), John Revolting & Diana Rush (Nate & Allie), Sunny & Share (Jason & Jessica), Gloria Stunnum & Bruce Leap (Chrystal & Trevor), Our far out host (Sandra/Mom), Andy Warthog (Merv/Dad).

I found these classic glasses as well as the rest of my costume at the DI. The glasses look better on Angie for sure...hot stuff! Diggin' the look Ang, it is groovy!!

We pulled out the Wii and then the good deep conversations that we are always so good at when we should be sleeping. At 4:15am I finally kicked everyone out. Of course Patrick got up at 7:30 that day, but nothing was going to bring down the high I was feeling about it being my birthday weekend!
Saturday Day...
Saturday Day...That is until we hit the park with the kids,
then a wonderful lunch with only Trevor at my bff Mimi's Cafe
(that with a coupon only cost us $10),
then a 9 hole game of golf,
(which was super fun but I would never disclose my score
since it is no where near my rockin' high score of -6 on the Wii golf)
I gotta say after golf I was BEAT! But Allie bought me
TWILIGHT
TWILIGHTfor my birthday so we HAD to watch it!
Trevor offered to watch the kids so Allie, Angie, and I could have a
"girls-in-the-other-room-without-kids-night"
I have the greatest husband!
This is Clara ready to say the blessing on our dinner we ate before our girls night. My hubby watched Patrick, Evan, and Clara to make this happen.
This is a cute picture taken of my new neice Ashlee!
Sunday (my actual birthday)...
Patrick kept me up most of the night so I was a total zombie as I started the day. We had church first thing in the morning and it wasn't til I had been awake for 2 hours that I realized
TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY! MAN I AM TIRED!!
This year I told Trevor I didn't want a birthday gift since we are worried about finances. But I did want to have my family come over and BBQ. That really was a perfect way to end a busy birthday weekend. It was so realaxing and lots of fun.
Thanks everyone for the memoriable birthday!!
Especially to my husband who made this cheap but PERFECT birthday possible!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You are such a party girl, I wish I was as good of a host and planner as you are. I don't plan ANYTHING. Your weekend sounded like a blast. I am so glad! One of these days I'll eventually get to see Twilight...
I'm glad you had a wonderful Birthday, it's sounds so fun.
